Director - Rabbi Sholom Bloom MBACP BCRPS Adv Dip MA MSc
Sholom has been a Psychotherapist, Teacher and Rabbi for almost 20 years. He started his work as a Rabbi and achieved a BA, MA and Rabbinical certificate early in his career. Realising that there were people that his rudimentary counselling skills were not able to help, he then trained as a Psychotherapist and qualified with the BACP. He has since completed a Masters in Psychology at King's College London, specialising in Organisational Psychology and has worked in both primary and secondary treatment centers, as well as in private practice. He now runs his own organisation, called Reflections.
General Manager and Family Therapist - Zahava Bloom Addiction Psychotherapist BA PG Dip Adv FDAP
Zahava splits her time between running secondary care for an addiction centre and her private practice. She is an Addiction Psychotherapist. Her original degree was in Social Science and Psychology, later going on to study Humanistic Psychotherapy, concluded with a Post-graduate Diploma in both group and individual Addiction Psychotherapy. As well as dealing with substance abuse addictions, Zahava specialises in eating disorders and codependancy.
Clinical Psychologist and CBT Therapist - Luisa Escurdero CBT Dip MA
Luisa is a Clinical Psychologist with specialisation in Cognitive–Behavioural Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy and dealing with Drug Abuse. She has vast experience in psychiatric clinics as head of the Psychology Department at one of South America’s leading Mental Health Clinics, in charge of individual and group therapies, as well as of formation of new psychologists.
Addiction Therapist - Mark Laurie MSc PG Dip Add Psych FDAP
Mark is a psychotherapist with several years experience working in primary and secondary treatment centres specialising in addiction and family counselling. He also works with clients with bereavement issues.
Social Worker and Psychotherapist - Gary Janit BA MA UKCP MBACP
Gary began his career as a social worker in South Africa over ten years ago. After moving to London in 1998, he trained as an integrative psychotherapist working for local organisations and developing his own private practice. Now living in Manchester , Gary has spent the last two years working on the NHS in primary care mental health teams and more recently as a trainee cognitive behavioural therapist within psychology services. Both at work and in his private practice, Gary treats mainly depression and anxiety disorders as well as relationship and self-esteem issues.
Office Administrator - Anya Howard BSc Psychology
Anya recently joined the Reflections team and works as a PA to the Director, as well as providing administrative support to all staff members. With a background in psychology, and many years experience working in executive administrative roles, Anya is responsible for accounts, appointments and website development.
Fabio Garces
Senior Web Designer, Ba Advertising and graphic Design
Fabio recently joined the Reflections team. He has been working in the web
and graphic design industry for 10 years and is now responsible for all the
graphic media, web development and search engine optimization.
